I'm on the opposite side of the size chart. I wear a size 9 boot and a large fin but I wear 7mm full sole boots and my feet are wide.

Yes, those are both the size Large in each fin. I wear a size XL Jet Fin and a size Regular Quattro with the same boots, was just giving the sizes as a bench mark. I do not wear hiking boots like Happy Diver. I use these in 3 and 5 mm:
