Hi

I'm looking for opinions on the Scubapro evertec drysuit.

Any info good or bad on this suit would be greatly appreciated !!

Thanks

I have the womans everdry 4. In Canadian waters it keeps me pretty warm with 300 undergarments. It wears more like a wetsuit meaning trim in the water, but it has a little more bouyancy because it is made of compressed neoprene. I love its flexibility, but now that I've had more diving experience I think a front zipper is better than back. I recently put Viking rings on my neoprene cuffs so I could use dry or wet gloves (99.00 online). Surprisingly it doesn't take that long to dry..hang it over a fence in the summer or a vent in hotel rooms on trips. Pretty good for the price and as an entry level drysuit. Enjoy!

Carl.P,

I have the EverTec drysuit and enjoy it thoroughly. I typically dive it with the Climatec undersuit (recently replaced with the Climasphere which is more form fitting). The suit is generously enough cut that it doesn't noticeably restrict movement. The front zip and extending torso mean you can self don without much of a problem (but I can't self doff... I need someone to hold the sleeve while I get my right shoulder out). The integrated neoprene booties are tough enough to walk around on (but don't get into the habit).

I thoroughly enjoy the drysuit and have no problems with mine. The only thing that takes a bit of getting used to is the slide inflator. If you're used to inflator valves that are push to inflate, the slider is a bit different. Other than that, no complaints.

I REALLY enjoy my EverTec.

Thanks to you both for the great replies !!

Thanks again

Carl
