Manual call for a CR2430 for the EDI. It is 3V, .88" dia x .12" thick Lithium. Can't find it in the usual local places. But can easily find the CR2450 which is also 3V, .88" dia x .12" thick Lithium. Any pitfalls I am missing other than a possible difference in battery life?

Thanks,

The CR2430 is usually used as a CMOS battery in computer systems. If the size and volatage are the same, the only downside I cna think of would be potentially shorter battery life.

Thanks

I finally found the CR2430 in an office supply store (Stapels) after striking out at Walmart, PX, and Best Buy. Package was labled for medical applications.
