Does anyone happen to know the range of C-to-C spacing that the Scubapro Dual Isolation Manifold will accommodate? Can it accommodate a tank/band combo spaced at 8.25"?

I am not sure if there were different sizes of this manifold, but the one I have in mind has a crossbar main body length (NOT counting the threaded portion) of 3.5 inches.

Thanks!

Manifolds are specific lengths and to be used with the appropriate cylinders. As far as I know Scubapro only have manifolds for 12L cylinders (my brother owns a pair), but I could be wrong.

Thanks. As long as the neck threading of the manifold fits that of the tanks and the psi rating of the manifold can accommodate that of the tank, I don't believe there is anything else that might, in most cases, make any manfold dedicated to any particular size tank. The bands are the bridge between tanks and manifold. The diameter of the bands must match that of the tanks, while the width of the center space of the bands brings the tanks into alignment with the C-to-C spacing of the manifold. Theoretically, if you could make bands yourself, you could match almost any manifold to any tanks (with some exceptions for weird sized tanks and manifolds I am sure).

Over the years, and even today to a lesser degree, manifolds have been made with different C-to-C spacing. I believe today the C-to-C spacing of most manifolds is in the range of 8.25" to 8.5"--the rotating crossbar manifolds being slightly adjustable (even if adjustability is not exactly the main purpose of the design). And I think most modern bands for most tank diameters are also in this same range. But the spacing on older manifolds and older bands seems to be all over the place.
