Is it new or used? New sometimes they are stiff with the new spring and stuff, but having to use two hands is no good. Your shop could lube up the o-rings around the inflation valve stem to make it work a little easier. That usually does the trick. Similar answer if used but could also be salt or corrosion build up. Either way I'd let your LDS know the issue and have them take a look.
