What is this? Similar to a MK 2 but weird cap. Cap has LP ports indicating a flow through piston?

Looks like a SP first stage (possibly MKIII) with environmental kit installed. The kits were an option for a few years around 1980.

Harley Davidson could learn a thing or two from early SB chrome.
 
The ports on the environmental kits are 7/16". Removing the port plugs should reveal metal or plastic discs used to hold silicone grease in the ambient chamber. Both types of discs are shown beside MKV with environmental kit.
