To go where most on our water planet can't go, to do what many dream of and come back and share.

or...

Float in a dream fantasizing about another dimension wishing it could last forever.

or...

The best/worst job in the world, sucking your last breath, asking your maker if you just let me get back up I promise to try to be a better person!

Both ends of the spectrum (with a really huge middle) limited only by our desire, may we all find peace with our desire!

Hoa!

When you measure the price of a non-related item with how many dives it cost you.

Hilarious but definitely agree! It's weird how much of the rest of your world is now measured by your perspective of scuba diving.

When you live in Seattle, and a trip to Arizona in February annoys you because you can't dive there.

When you hate being cold more than anything else in the entire world, and voluntarily submerge in 43 degree water for an hour at a time.

When you used to insist your husband carry the fifty pound grain sacks to the barn, and now you cart around your double 85s without complaint (or much, anyway :))

When the funky smell in your Audi just makes you smile.

That's.....profound! So simple, yet so true. I could see you using that as a quote as part of your signature. Bravo.

Shouldn't it be...surprised a snorkler hasn't figured out?
Reminds me of the Dave Barry quote "I will spare you a gushy description of the dive itself, except to say that when you finally see what goes on underwater, you realize that you've been missing the whole point of the ocean. Staying on the surface all the time is like going to the circus and staring at the outside of the tent."

Being one with Mother Nature

Helping me to find my inner piece

A place where I can lose my stress

A place where I can be with my inner thoughts

A "happy place"
