United flies direct year around from Houston, Saturday and Sunday, and direct from Newark during the winter months only, Saturday and Sunday. Delta flies direct from Atlanta, Saturday and Sunday. There’s a direct flight from Toronto, Canadian airline, winter months only with money exchange of 30% in Americans favor. American flies into Curacao but usually requires a stay over. Miami also has flights to Curacao with a stay over. 4 door pickups is the norm to rent. They do have a six passenger vans you can also rent. Boat dives are really only needed for diving Klein Bonaire or if you want to go north to sites #1 and #2. Bonaire offers kite boarding, sail boarding, mangroves, donkey farm, Cadushy distillery and light shopping. Enjoy your trip. My wife and i do about 150 dives a year in Bonaire and still love it.
