I’m praying for good weather in Belize for our week. It’s been so rainy up here in the northeast (and a lot more of the country as I understand it) that I am far behind on my garden planting. Soil is just too wet to transplant right now (And has been for a few weeks).

At least I have my herb and veggie plants in their original containers out on my patio, so they’ve been growing well (even have a few cherry tomatoes already!). Just makes it a little more dicey to do the transplanting.

It’ll be refreshing to go underwater to get wet for a change! 😄

Deep 6 is a great option for regs nowadays. Parts are incredibly easy to come by, and they are also easy to work on.
I second this. Chris, Rachel and I love our Deep6 regs, and they’ve been easier and more affordable to service than our former Scubapro ones.

They breathe great too.

Yesterday was @BigFoot's first day on Scuba in a BC that didn't fit quite right. We call him bigfoot because he's 6'5" We are using today to have him assemble a hybrid backplate and wing, customizing it to his liking. So far, so good. We're desperately seeking cambands at the moment. I know I have a whole box of them.
cambands located:)

He learned the mystery of threading cam buckles today. I've known instructors who couldn't make them work right. :D The BC is all put together and we'll dive in the morning if the crick don't rise. :D

Up here the cricks are rising fast, with extensive flood alerts.

Down where you are in flatland, 1.5 inches might not seem like much, but up here in steep hill county, the cricks can rise fast with that much rain in one day!

Ethan improves with each day. We would have stayed longer and done more, but there were 3 classes coming into Troy today. We got out as the crowds meandered in.
