We are also planning to go up to Placencia for a few days after the Invasion. An old dive buddy bought a resort there, Paradise Resort. If interested in joining us after the Surge, PM me.

SURGE happens in January and is a smaller event which is typically held at a smaller resorts.

Invasions (SB Birthday party) happen in June and is a larger event where a much larger resort is needed.

Both events emphasize the social aspect of diving and FUN is the main goal.

We are planning to come out a few days early and are considering your recommendation. I see there's several options for getting from the airport down to Placencia, but we'll probably just rent a car.
