so how is this trip going to work...ferry over to PDC, bus to Cancun and boat to Isla Mujeres?
that is going to be a full day trip

I believe the details will be the same as last time (See Below), But I will double check as we get closer.
Transportation between Playa and Grand Puerto is in Air Condition Vans

A full-day excursion to snorkel with the Whale Sharks off the Yucatan peninsula.

GUARANTEED VIEWING – IF YOU DON´T SEE ANY WHALE SHARKS YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A FULL REFUND – however there has never been a trip in their history where they didn't see whale sharks….


Description of Tour- Travel times (other than ferry departure) are approximates

- Departure at 6:00 AM on ferry from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen (approx $11USD p/p one way)

- Pick up at 6:45 AM at Playa del Carmen pier -Sr. Frogs – look for the driver with the large WHALE SHARK SIGN.

- 8:00 AM Arrive Gran Puerto (Ultramar pier). Participants received with coffee, tea, cookies. Bathrooms available.

- Briefing and explanation of tour along with security measures that clients must take. Question and Answer session.

- 9:00 AM departure of tour from the pier. On board box lunch including a sandwich, water, soft drink and fruit. During the tour the captain will take the group out to the whale shark sightings where 2 people at a time will be in the water with the bilingual guide. Time varies as the whales move from place to place.

- 1:30 PM return from tour to Gran Puerto for a delicious CEVICHE served with fruit water. Soft drinks and other beverages available for purchase.

- 3:00 PM arrive back to Playa del Carmen where you can take the next ferry back to Cozumel or stay in Playa and look around a bit. (ferry cost not included)

Bring some form of ID (driver’s license or passport). A shorty is recommended for added buoyancy.

ScubaBoard Invasion 2015 Details

Rooms Are On A First Come First Serve Basis
Please keep in mind Deposits are PER ROOM, NOT PER PERSON
You will need to let them know your room mates name if they are a diver, or non diver to hold their spot.
Once we reach 96 divers, a waiting list will be started.
(Non divers are not included in the diver count, so as long as they have reserved a room
while rooms are available they will be included in the Invasion.)
Also at the present time we only have 40 spots for the Whale shark excursion.
YES, you and your room mate can sign up for that when you call to join, just let Bay Adventures know.
