ScubaBoard Invasion Central 2014 Roatan

I am currently doing something that I would never recommend you do. I am making a list of all the SCUBA stuff that was in my carry-on backpack that was stolen from my Suburban last week. The reason I don't recommend this task is because it makes you realize just how much you have spent on SCUBA gear. AND...the only thing in that backpack was 2 sets of regs, a dive computer, and my underwater camera. BC's, wetsuits, and other items are not even on the list!!

If you care about money at all and take the time to add up all your SCUBA expenditures (gear, classes, dive trips, etc) you would probably have yourself committed to the nearest mental institution.


But then, diving helps keep me out of a mental institution. I suppose it evens out.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Pat. Not a good feeling for anyone to have their vehicle broken into and valuables taken Good luck with your replacement hunting. We need you and your wife fully equipped in Roatan!

Colin...the worst part is that our passports were also in that bag. Tracey is going to Cancun with some friends next week. So...we will be coming to visit Chicago this week so that Tracey can get a new passport before her trip.

Ouch! Good luck with the passport. That sounds like a PITA.

It is a PITA and expensive. Happened to me last year just before the Bonaire Invasion. Becky's fault (that's what I tell her) she didn't take it out of my pocket before going through the washer, 8 days before departure. Quick trip to Detroit and $175.
