I have had a number of PM's about the shark dive and how it works,
As they say a picture is worth a 1,000 words, so video has got to be worth much more.
Ok here is how it works
There is a small briefing about the do's and dont's during the dive.
The depth is around 70' and you start with your backs against a coral wall
Once the DM see the sharks are calm, you get to swim right out among them
Then once they are ready to feed the sharks everyone returns to the wall
They open the bucket and the sharks converge.

This is not a sit in a circle dive and one of your best chances to get pictures of these animals up close
Yes you can use your 50.00 activity credit in our package towards this dive
Roxanne and I have done this dive multiple times and it never get old
Crew member DO NOT want to miss this opportunity.

Rebecca and I just did the shark dive in late October. Due to conditions, we were not able to swim freely among the sharks. We were given the opportunity to look for shark teeth after the feeding, (I found a nice one).

The shark dive op does not allow the use of GoPros during the dive. The reason given, is that users tend to hold the GoPro at arms length, inviting "nibbles" from the sharks.

Interestingly, the sharks that return each day for the feedings are all females.

At no time did Rebecca or I feel afraid or intimidated. It was a very cool experience.

:hm: not intimidated while swimming with a bunch of sharks.

You ain't right.

But I plan to do it every chance I get. :D I will be intimidated, but loving it.

Can someone provide some insight in regards to the Shark Dive? I see from Card's post above how it works, but looking for pricing, scheduling, etc. I am unable to find information about this in the Invasion post.
