Welcome to Scuba Board, Spica and Kal,

I've only been a SB'er for one month but I think it's a great site with lotsa diving information and friendly SB'ers.

Spica - I'm not a stronger swimmer either, but I'm extremely comfortable in the water and that seems to be key. RELAX, BREATHE and you will be fine. Good luck on our shore dive next month.

I'm in SoCal. The pool dives (next 2 Sundays) will be at the YMCA in Fullerton CA. The beach dive (aug 3) will take place in Catalina.

Fullerton, you say? That is where I live. I just got my OW certification at Fullerton College under Rhett Price last week.

You should go to SoCal Dive-In. Great fellows to meet. I am going there to meet and dive with them. You should go whether if you can't dive, just to meet them and get some experience from them. =)

Welcome to the board :d Come to the SoCal board and Join the fun! Hes got that right about the SoCal dive in about 30+ people to meet. Its for divers and wanna be divers :D Come join the fun ill be there. Oh and Experience that for sure you will get plenty of that.
