I just wonder if the "scuba tank dog water bowl" coolness factor will be outweighed by paying $15 plus shipping from Anchorage, AK? :D
UPS Ground for 8 pounds from Anchorage to me in the Southeast USA is $$ 27.52 USD. (according to ups.com)

USPS and USPS flat rate "envelope". 4.99 anywhere in the USA. I use them for Ebay all the time. Comes with free tracking too. USPS is great!

What I found somewhat disturbing is the increased cases of Alzheimers in the last 25 years or so,funny how it kind of coincides with the large use of aluminum cookware in the 50's and 60's.Having a parent & grandparent fall to this disease I tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to aluminum for me or my pets.
The National Institute of Health found that aluminum can cause neurological damage associated with Alzheimer's. Avoid excessive exposure to aluminum by limiting your use of aluminum cookware and certain antacids, aspirins and antiperspirant which contain aluminum.
Just sayin'..

Are you cooking the dog food in the bowl? Dogs live, what, a quarter what humans do at most. I doubt they live long enough for Alzheimers to be an issue, even if Fido were to wok his food in it daily.

BTW, have you wok-ed your dog today?

Just dont want to take any chances with memory loss. It would be REALLY bad if he had memory loss & forgot how to use the "doggy door" :D

To answer previous questions:
1. I will email picts to anyone who wants them at the end of this month when I get home from my current work/dive trip.
2. I will ship cheapest possibile, wether it is flat rate, parcel post, ect.
3. I have sectioned tanks in the past with both a band saw, and a metal cutting disk on a chop saw. Either work well.

And just one question to all the people talking about health effects: Has there ever been a documented case of dogs getting Alzheimers?

I am sure, that eggs served on a bed of microns
of PTFE is far milder on the palette and intestine

I don't think beer and sodas would still be sold in aluminum cans if consumption of cold products that have been sitting in aluminum vessels for some time were a problem for humans. Anyways, I put my beer down around here somewhere. Where the...?

in dogs its called Canine Cognitive Dysfunction. Aluminum is also known to cause bone defects, however in saying that... if you are taking care of it properly I cant see an issue...
