I was wondering if any of you have heard of this Scuba Radio.

If you have is it worth listening to?

How do I find it?

Took me about 4.3 seconds to find www.scubaradio.com using Google. They also have archived shows you can listen to via the magic of the internet. Or listen live on Saturdays.

You make the call !!!

I think not sure that SIRIUS sattellite radio has a program that runs on Sunday. I will have to check out the sirius web site to see...

From the scubaradio.com website:

"Listeners can hear ScubaRadio via radio, satellite, and the Internet.

Approximately 50 news/sports talk radio stations currently air ScubaRadio throughout the US. (A complete list of ScubaRadio affiliates can be accessed here) This translates to an estimated reach of 500,000 radio listeners per week.

ScubaRadio can also be heard on the Sirius Satellite Radio Network (Channel #122/125)...this provides quality sound to over 800,000 subscribers nationwide. The Sirius signal extends over 200 miles off shore as well making it an ideal listening option for boaters/island destinations.

In addition to the radio and satellite broadcast, we also cybercast worldwide over the Internet at www.ScubaRadio.com. You can listen live or to archives of past ScubaRadio shows. We currently receive over 100,000 impressions/750,000 hits a month. ScubaRadio.com is evolving into one of the largest on-line communities for divers on the web.

While reaching a over a million listeners per week may sound impressive, it's truly just the beginning. ScubaRadio is still in the infancy stage of it’s growth process and the future looks very bright."

while this isn't radio, Scuba-TV was sorta neat. Rodales used to do a weekly TV show that highlighted some diving destination, equipment or something. They weren't anythiing to btag about as it appeared to have been done on a shoestring production budget, but it was better than nothing. They came on one of the outdoor life network type channels on Saturday afternoons

I love ScubaRadio! I have been listenening to the show for over a year. The show has kept my interest in diving during the cold Minnesota winters. Since I started listening I went from not diving for 5 years to earning my Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver, and I should have my Divemaster and Nitrox certs by spring.

Keep listening because they also have some excellent give away's. I know, because I am the lucky recipient of both a pair of "Flying Force Fins" and an Aqualung Titan LX regulator.

I listened to many of the shows on my MP3 player. I think scuba radio has TOO MUCH commercials and not enough valued content. In a 2 hour show they have about 5 minutes of interesting content, 45 minutes of commercials or theme songs.

I also like scubaradio. I listen to the archives at work during the week when I can. I is nice to have it running in the background as I work.

.......I have been listening since yesterday. Kinda of fun. Julia seems like someone all male (straight) divers would like to meet.
