As far as I can tell, the only difference is the sea hawk having larger pockets. Is there anything else different about these two BC's?

I was in the market a few years ago and wondered the very same thing and came to the same conclusion. In the end I went with the SeaHawk and have loved mine. I'm sure either would be great but I just liked the larger pockets.

10 lbs. more lift with the Seahawk.

If there's much of a difference, I can't see it:

Knighthawk
[-] Back flotation positions the air cell in back, providing exceptional freedom of movement while decreasing hydro-drag by reducing bulk.[/-]
[-]Three-dump deflation system lets you to dump air from a variety of underwater positions.
Compression straps rein in the air cell when it is deflated and contribute to optimum volume control.
Rotating quick-release shoulder buckles allow you to optimize the routing of your shoulder straps to maximize fit.[/-]
Dual zippered pockets -- one an expandable rollout -- provide lots of cargo-carrying capability.
[-]Soft neoprene neck roll and padded back pad enhance comfort during long dives.[/-]
[-]Padded cummerbund compensates for suit compression, maintaining a snug fit at varying depths.[/-]
[-]Ergonomic harness incorporates anatomically-shaped components to allow for an even load distribution.[/-]
[-]Quick-release integrated weight system pouches accommodate 10 to 12 pounds each (depending on size) and secure with oversized buckles.
Two rear trim pouches counterbalance the front ballast weight to create a well-balanced swimming position.[/-]
The air cell is made from 1000 denier nylon on the outside and 420 denier nylon on the inside to provide maximum resistance to punctures and abrasion.
[-]Four pre-bent stainless steel D-rings provide convenient clip-on points for additional gear.
[-]BC comes equipped with a Balanced Power Inflator or an AIR2.[/-][/-]
[-] Available in five sizes with 33[/-] to almost 45 pounds of lift capacity, depending on size. See [-]BC sizing chart for details.[/-]
[-]Colors: Available in Black.[/-] Limited Edition: Camo

don't buy a camo bc unless you want people to laugh at you...

I don't own camo anything and doubt I will start now

The only thing on here that would make me lean back towards the knight hawk would be that air cell seems better on it.

They're the same: Scubapro Seahawk BC
Construction:
Outer Bladder: Durable 1000-Denier Inner Bladder: 420-Denier Nylon
Urethane Internal Laminate Interior
Radio Frequency (RF) Welded Seams for Airtight Integrity

The only difference I see is the Knighthawk is up to a pound heavier if Leisurepro is to be believed - they list the Seahawk at 8.0 and the Knighthawk at 8.4-9.2 depending on size.

LeisurePro also markets the Seahawk as the better option for Instructors/DM's due to the bigger pockets since they're often carrying extra weight, spools etc.

I don't see how you can go wrong with either. I almost bought a Blackhawk - the Knighthawk's predecessor a few years ago.

If you can - try them both on, fit may be a factor. Maybe here: DIVING LOCKERSKI CHALET - Home
We are Savannah's only authorized ScubaPro/Uwatec dealer.

So where do you dive? Northern Florida? Didn't seem to be much around Savannah when we were at Hilton Head. We wound up diving wrecks off Myrtle Beach.

The Knighthawk doesn't have pockets.....pretty easy to get bigger

I emailed scubapro and they responded very quickly with this:

Yes, the Knighthawk and the Seahawk are very similar BC's. Yes, the construction is the same; however, the Sea hawk has 3 main differences:

1) Large storage pockets
2) 56 lbs lift in all sizes (Knighthawk max is 50)
3) Knife grommets

Steve,

NO FLA and right here in SAV. There's some great spots here. I have a few buddies that are a lot more serious then me about diving that let me tag along.

I bought the Seahawk a few weeks ago and am very very happy with it. The pockets are a little misleading, however because they are immediately adjacent with the "pockets" for the ditchable weights. With weights in the BC(for me 4 lbs soft weight in each) , the pockets' usable space is decreased considerably. E.g. in the left pocket I can just barely get in my roll up snorkel and small slate once the 4 lbs are loaded. That being said, I bought the Seahawk because of the pockets and am very happy - just know that the capacity is somewhat limited.
