I posted this a couple of days ago :
I have been here bouncing off the wall in anticipation of that weekend....finding every excuse to pull out my gear and "tweak" it as I say or "piddle" with it as whitescubawolf would say. I have the best lubed o-rings around I am sure....snet my steel 72 to the shop for hydro and vip today, ordered WSW a new wet suit....picked up some lead (bathtub tested my 3mm for buoyancy, filled the tub and set weight on it to sink, now I got to test the new lead to make sure it works the same as the old lead)
filled the tub with bath water and added ice to get it down to 68f, to see how the springs will feel ahhh comfy, afraid the wet suit will be a bit warm.....am lost tonight with out my 72 beside me while on here( been hooking it up and breathing off of it while posting on SB.....with mask, tonight I am snorkeling it) sorry for any typos reef gloves are on tonight also....last night I had to go to wally world and get a wireless key board,I had a bad moment and was practicing entanglements and pulled the line cutter out and killed my mouse, then the key board....H>E>L>P>!!!!! I have a sickness. The fiancé just walks in shakes her head, says "uhhh huh" and walks out mumbling something about way too much time.....I thought she was talking about until she gets her C-card in may that week , but no she meant on my hands....

things haven't got any better

Yep, have to say scuba diving is already ruining my life, my relation to my family, friends, and work. Even the people in the North California Scuba forum here thinks I'm very crazy, over the head, cuckoo also, but I'm happy and proud about it. :D

I am sooooo in this boat. I can't stop obseesing about diving!

Is there a 12 step program for this?

hmmm, is scuba ruining my life...... let see

on my birthday once hubby gave me a snorkel and traded in his compact car and bought big scuba-mobile for himself...... on my birthday

when we married he made sure we got married where he wanted so he could get 3 dives in before the i do's and then back into the water immediately after (refer my profile pic)

he missing our next wedding anniversary as he is off doing rebreather training then off on a OS holiday..... without me

and this morning when i woke up i found him in the living room fondling his new 3ltr tanks (for his MEG)

nope.... seems like my life is as normal as always

Brad B:
Yesterday I went up to my LDS to pick up some new gear and when I finally looked at my watch I had been there for about 3 hours.

What is it with the LDS??? I CANNOT go in there for ANYTHING and spend less than 30 minutes. I was on the way to dinner with my family in the car the other day and "dropped by" the LDS to pick up a couple of videos that the owner was going to set out for me. My wife ended up calling me on my cell phone from the car in the parking lot to check on me. There is NO "quick trip to the LDS". You can't do it. It can't be done.

Uncle Pug:
Pink's good! In fact I was thinking about giving it a special 60s paint job since my shade of green is no longer unique on the dock!

But I haven't quite figured out how to tie-dye a boat yet. :D

Paint ball gun at ten paces. :D

What? You've never been to Nordstroms with a normal woman have you! Or try getting out of Fry's Electronics in less than 2 hours if you walk in there with your computer geek brother.

Diver are not any different. We just have more neoprene and compressed gasses in our shiny jewelry that we wear.

Costs the same. :D

It's amazing to me that a thread started four years ago is still timelessly appropriate. :D
