I found the ScubaCore series and the Florida Keys Dive DVD and was wondering if anyone had any other recommendations?
I thought it would be nice to watch when the weather is bad or life gets too hectic. Also, I have a 3 year old nephew and thought he might enjoy it now and it may spark some interest later.

Thanks,

Tom

I have the Florida Keys DVD myself, as well as some of Howard Hall's IMAX DVDs (more marine life oriented with diving instead of strictly scuba diving) like Coral Reef Adventure, Island of the Sharks or the Underwaterworld Trilogy series. Coral Sea Dreaming is an nice look at the GBR reef but it moves *very* slowly (almost painfully so at times).

My son and daughter (7 and 2) like all three "Captain Jon" DVDs, they are very entertaining and engaging.

What do you think of the ScubaCore series? Worth the investment?

I've bought a couple of good ones on eBay. From Plus Video. Do a search for DVD in Scuba/Snorkeling.

Over the past few months, I have had to be very visual in the recruitment of kids from my school to our scuba club. As we have learned, there are a whole bunch of certified divers at the school who dont want to make themselves known.

In order to expose these divers, and get new divers interested, I have been looping PADI's THIS IS DIVING short many times on my computer and that seems to work.

Sent away for issue 1 but haven't received it yet.

I know this a waaay old thread but I just got my 3rd scubacore issue. I like them a lot. If you're a tech diver they are definitely not for you but if you're a vacation diver (like me) I highly recommend them.

They'll keep me company over the long, cold Chicago winter.
