Scuba Diving in Progresso, Yucatan Mexico?

We're scuba diving in Cozumel, but at our other port, our cruise ship doesn't offer a diving excursion in Progresso, Yucatan Mexico. Has anyone used a good dive operator at that port?

As far as I know there is no diving to be done in Progreso that is worth the time and money.

Gulf of Mexico there is brown water with sandy bottom, no reefs.
