I invented another underwater scuba signal.

My wife and I dive together, and frequently I hug her when we are underwater. She thought that was so romantic, until I told her that hugging was my underwater signal for:

"I am peeing now."
 
Some important hand signals (parody):
- my ears do not equalize (point at your brain and show the "problem" sign)
- the hose to my pee valve is kinked (point down there; try to grab the hose)
- I am too buoyant (sometimes a falling leaf movement with your hand but up - but most often just point your feet up)
- I have 3 ATA left in my diving cylinder(s) (OK-sign)
- I am peeing now (position yourself in front of and above your buddy and show the OK sign)
- I wish to switch buddy immediately (midfinger up) (this sign is a stonger alternative to thumb up and also covers the next dive)
