Hilutungan, Nalusuan and Talima are one of the most preserved sanctuaries around Cebu.
It takes only 20 - 30 minutes by banca boat to reach these great dive destinations. Kontiki Divers do regular day trips to these dive spots staring 10am. Day trip includes 2 back to back dives and lunch. Usually we are back to the dive center around 2:30 - 3pm. Earlier departures can be arranged on special request.

Diving at Nalusuan

This dive site is good for beginners and advanced divers. Depends on the current you begin or finish your dive on the slope. Shallow part has beautiful coral garden.
One of the highlights in Nalusuan are Blue Spotted Stingrays. You can see 10 -20 stingrays sometimes at around 15 meter deep only. Other than that it is common to see groupers, plenty small nudibranchs, lion fish and parrot fishes. This dive site is also very good for snorkelling.

Diving at Hilutungan

Hilutungan has been very popular with divers for a long time. This dive site is a great wall dive with plenty nice corals in shallow water, good for beginners and advanced divers. Don't be surprised when during the dive you are going to be followed by Batfishes. They are very friendly and not afraid of divers. It is also common to see school of barracudas in shallow area plus needle fishes, rabbit fish, snapper and other. Very good for snorkelling.

Diving at Talima

Talima dive site is just as good as Nalusuan and Hilutungan. Good for beginners and advanced divers. One of the highlights in Talima is a small ship wreck at 12 meter deep always surrounded by school of Jakfish, Snapper, Lionfish, Trumpetfish and many more.
Up to around 15 meter you dive on the slope and bellow that there is a great deep wall for experienced divers.

That's true! I went out with you guys for a dive to Nalusuan and there were these stingrays everywhere! Very nice corals in shallow water. Almost didn't want to go up! Job well done!
I might be in Cebu next week and want to dive in Talima. I let you know. Cheers
