How do people dive a 130' deep wreck? Not single tank? What cert would be accepted for that?

You can dive 130” with a Deep diver certification. It allows you to go to 130ft. You can do it on a single tank. If on Air, you have 5 minutes of NDL on Nitrox 32 you have 15 minutes. Remember though, its 130ft in the sand but most people don’t dive to the sand

The SSI Science of Diving course was probably my favorite. I highly recommend it to any new diver that wants a better understanding of how they came up with the numbers in the dive tables.

MOD for 32% at sea level with an ATA of 1.4 is 111 feet.
Are you suggesting to use 32% at sea level with an ATA of 1.6 during a working part of a dive to 132 feet is ok?

Looks that way to me. Sadly not the first person on this forum to say 1.6 is ok for working part. But you can't fix stupid, only Darwin can.

I know of one fatality due to oxtox where the diver was diving at 1.4.

Looks that way to me. Sadly not the first person on this forum to say 1.6 is ok for working part. But you can't fix stupid, only Darwin can.

In the commercial world, we dove 1.6 on working dives all the time. Never saw Darwin show for any of those dives.
