and they take up the time you could otherwise use teaching your brain to remember things

What happened, to all those phone numbers, we used to store in the computer in our head

We gave ourselves over to that cell phone, turned us into vegetables that are lost without it

That's what happened
Knocked out of the way by the lyrics for 60', 70's and 80's rock.......

Well in fair comparison, I only had 1 or 2 phone numbers to remember in the 70's. I still remember my phone number from when I was 12. We had a party line with the folks across the woods.

I just looked at my iPhone...86 contacts, No way I could memorize 86 phone numbers.
I don't think back in the 70's they "stored phone numbers in the computer in our head". They carried a little black book. Pop carried one in his suit vest pocket daily. Mom used to check it...just like women snoop in their husbands phone today. LOL

In addition to a packing list, I also always have a gear checklist in my wetnotes
I do this as well, it makes it super easy to pull the wet notes and neoprene out of my dive crate, check items and batteries then load everything back up.
If y’all haven’t already I highly recommend a large milk crate for dive gear.

We have a large Rubbermaid tub to transport our gear. Makes it really easy to take to where I go to clean it, rinse it off and hang it up to dry.

Checklist is great. Sadly it doesn’t help when I can’t find something that I thought was where it should be.

Dude chop that in half and you won't remember why you ever spoke to them in the first place
