Scuba Aladin 2G dive computer

Question: is there ever a need for a "upgrade" to the software of the dive computer or is it out of the box ready to forever use? I've had one now for a year and wonder if the software is ever in need of any updates. It works just fine, I have no operational reason to ask this question - more just wondering if it needs to be kept up to date so to speak.

Follow up question: if so, how does one go about doing that?

Thank you for choosing SCUBAPRO. The short answer is no, you do not need to. If hypothetically there was necessary computer software upgrade, we would contact you. The upgrades you may see on our website for Galileo for example, pertain to adding optional features such as Apnea (freediving) or Trimix modes, or removing Trimix.
