I'm a Fish!
Ok, I can now confirm that I'm addicted to Scuba Diving. I just got back from 3 days a Disneyland and everytime we came in on the Monorail I saw that Submarine Ride and all I could think about is...man that would be a fun dive. The ride is closed for those who don't know but I think it would be a blast to dive around acheck stuff out. I know I'm crazy but is it just me?

I too went to Disney Land recently and stared in awe at how fun it would be to dive that place. (I rode the monorail 3 times to look at it :mischief: ) Even the ride would've been awesome, so I was mad when I found out it was closed. You are not alone! ;)

heh.. it might have been fun. There are all sorts of stuff down there, .. all fake.. but fun.

The submarine ride was a pretty fun ride.. bummer that it's closed. Maybe they'll redo it.. as they're doing with Space Mtn.

I was there a couple of months ago - and had the same thought. :-)

I don't know if it's nice or scary to know that others think like I do...

Ha! Well, I feel better! I just think it would be a blast to piddle around down there and check stuff out. I even went so far as to asses the best entry. Sad.

It's shallow too. It would be a long dive.

Disney probably won't rebuild the ride. They've scrapped the version at Disney World, as well. An old 20K Leagues sub from DW has been sunk at Disney's private island, Castaway Key so that people could dive it there. That, along with the popluarity of Dive Quest at Epcot makes me think Disney knows how popular diving is. Maybe someday a west coast version of Dive Quest could happen. Goodness know the California Adventure park sounds like it could use an extra oomph.

What's Dive Quest?
