LCD's are susceptible to fading, most commonly due to the elastomer rubber (conductive) behind the screen. That's the case if you push on the screen and the text becomes more visible. I would expect the manufacturer to replace it - what brand are you using?Vladi:
A low battery can also cause a similar effect. It depends on the model.
