Scratches on Dome

I know this has probably been answered before but.....I've managed to scratch the INSIDE of my Ikelite 8"Dome any suggestions or tips to get rid of them?

toothpaste takes scratches out of the outside of an ikelite dome but working on the inside might disrupt the optics. You can try.

I had the same thing happen to me, my focus ring came off. It messed up my photos that day!

You can remove the dome port scratches with a special mesh kit, it worked for me. The article has some links to places selling the mesh kit.

Before you go to the mesh systems like Micro Mesh you might try the Novus system or Plexus. N

Thanks guys, I will have a look at the availability of these products here in NZ, toothpaste has gotton rid of the worst of it.
