Hi there!

Is anyone aware of any opportunities to take part in as a scientific diver in or around the city of Vancouver?

I'll be applying at the aquarium which sounds like good fun but does anyone know of anything in openwater?

Cheers!

UBC offers a scientific diving course which will get you started in scientific diving. Coincidentally, I just signed up for it today...
I'm not sure what kind of opportunities there are for scientific divers but UBC seems like a logical place to start.

The next one will happen beginning the week of April 18th and continue on a part-time basis for 8 weeks.

You can find all the info and contacts here: Diving Safety | Department of Health, Safety and Environment

I did the course down here in Santa Cruz, but haven't found any opportunities to use it. :(

Are those P. Cubes on the Bamfield site?
