Any advice on which is a "good" scanner to buy :-

Requirements:- Dont want full x Mega resolution as dont want to edit, just display on web boards and send occaisional disk to freinds and family.

Looking for good price and reasonable resolution

Thanks for any tips

3 in one printer/copier/scanner. Well several actually I think I have the 1210 or something like that.

And if you get into digital it even has slots for compaq flash, smart media and memory stick.

Probably around the $300 mark or less.

All scanners that are being sold today will be fine for this.
I use a old UMAX and rearly scan at over 300 dpi.
What I'd recommend is to find a scanner that have an adapter for negativs, this way you can scan directly from them. you get better quality and if you don't print the photos it's also cheaper.
And ask at your local Photo Shop, they might have a option to give you a CD with all your photos on it with evey development session.
