I have a few questions about a galapagos boat trip. Where should we get our sun tan lotion? Can we take it on the plane from quint to Islands? Do we need an electrical converter for our US iPhones, etc?

Hi Jay,
Thank you for your message! Please find the comments below:
  • You are welcome to bring any sun tan lotion of your choice, just please make sure it has sufficient strength sunscreen.
  • There are standard security rules on a plane, meaning no more than 1000 ml liquids in total, 100 ml per one container. There is also a limit on checked-in luggage for flights to and from Quito to the Galapagos of one bag up to 50 pounds (23 kilos). In addition, passengers are allowed a carry-on bag weighing no more than 17.6 pounds (8 kilos) and a personal item. All additional luggage fees must be paid in cash at flight time (the requirements should be double checked while booking).
  • Electricity - 110 & 220V 24 hours per day. They use two types of plugs: the most common is the plug with 2 parallel flat pins.
We will be happy to assist you further in planning your trip to Galapagos Islands. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us directly at support@divebooker.com
