No dive today due to conditions so instead some "food for thought" about sticking one's hands in holes and crevices on the ocean floor to retrieve souvenirs etc.
I took a visiting former job partner diving a few weeks back and he saw these two critters. Later he said what a meal they would have made.
Look at what is lurking behind them. It was big enough to take your hand off if it locked onto it.

Very smart eel. Tempting divers with nice sized lobsters.

And look at those lobsters just sitting right on the edge to entice you in..I often see eels and lobsters hanging together...maybe the lobsters cleanup after the eel...

I've always wondered about that. While eels and lobsters seem to cohab a lot, I did see an eel eating a live lobster once.
