I especially like the Spotted Eagle Rays...those just off Kihei?

My dive buddy and his wife should be landing on Maui about now for a week :( how are conditions for shore diving?

Otter, the school of Eagle Rays is off Makena.
shore diving conditions have improved over the last few says as we had a swell. There is however a storm approaching so I'm not sure what will happen to the shore diving conditions, along with diving in general.

NOTE: scubaboard.com has been so slow the past few days that it is near impossible to navigate through the site. Is anyone working on this problem?

Love the Eagle Rays!

Yes....the pooh-bah's are trying to find the reason for the slowdown. Each page was taking 3+ minutes yesterday! Tonight it's working fine for me.

Things seem fine this morning. How's the strobe/arm working?

Gilligan,

Thanks so much for sharring the pics with us. :)

I love the data on each pic via the sliver of JS.

How do you remember/record all that data? Slate, photographic memory :) or ?

The data is already in the pic as EXIF data. The software program that came with your digital camera will reveal some of it ("Camedia" for Olympus). Photoshop will show all the EXIF data on the original pic not an adjusted and re-saved one. There are plenty of freeware EXIF programs out there. I downloaded one from:
http://www.takenet.or.jp/~ryuuji/
I only use a dive slate to calibrate the manual White Balance.
Remembering all that data is out of the question. I'm too old for that. I got enough to do to rememeber to turn my air on :book2:
