Hey y'all.... Just a quick shout to let you know there's now a small group of Conchs' coming out with me on Saturday AM. Right now, I have 8 spots left, so if anyone else wants to hop on, please let me know. Call my cell phone 772-370-2144.

For those who don't already know, this is with A1A Palm Beach Dive Charter out of the Palm Beach Marina. As for profiles, we will probably stay around 60 feet, so if there are any new divers out there that would like to dive with us, please feel free (we will actuall have two DM's in the water also)

Fee is $45 without air
Everyone needs to be there at 7:30am for an 8am departure (got to be on time, as we have an afternoon dive also)

here's the calendar link
Here's who I have so far:

Orlando Eric (Eric)
Down4Fun (Kim)
Hoya97 (Lee)
Scubakat (Cheryl)
And myself

hmmmm. tempting. but I have to take my cat to the vet.
anyone sticking around for an afternoon dive?

Yeah, I think I've got to take my cat to the vet. Or have a root canal. Or weed the shrubs. Anything to keep from diving with the Conchs...

Seriously, though, what a weekend to be stuck in NC! Best wishes to everybody and safe ascents.

I miss you guys,
Grier

Blondey,

I think Baitedstorm isn't going to let me get off the boat after the AM dive, so at least two of us (myself and Scubacat) will be making the afternoon dive. Can't speak for Orlando Eric as he isn't speaking to me, but he's a tough guy so he may be convinced to join us as well. Besides, I'm not above putting on a little peer pressure to make it happen.

Baitedstorm,
Does you know where the dives will be on the AM/PM trips? What has the recent vis been like in your neck of the woods? I know last week, a bit south of you, it was crystiline. But any updates would be appreciated.

Grins,

Lee

Baitedstorm -- FYI I have four students coming with me for the afternoon boat, I will be bringing either a DM or a DM in training to run my float. This will allow you to DM for the rest of the boat. As another FYI, I will be requesting Mike put me on Maralargo and The Trench. I am tell you this so your morning boat does not do those locations so that those who stay will not be doing the same dives back to back.

I'm having my cat shaved that way he doesn't need to lick himself so much. However I'll be in the Orlando are for the weekend. :)

Thanks for the heads up Shane, those are two of my very favorite spots. As for recent conditons Lee, the viz has been top to bottom with temps ranging between 74-77 (depending on whose computer your looking at).

I need to know how many peeps want to do the avro. trip..

What time would I have to be at the dock for the Saturday afternoon dives?

I just answered that question myself by clicking on Vickie's link to A-1-A. Time would not be on my side for Saturday afternoon, unless I can bring my cat?
How serious is a Sunday dive?
