I too have a 18650 powered light that puts out 200+ lumen. It will run for about 1.5 hours before its output drops ( I measure this by current not lumen). It will still run for several more hours before the discharge protection kicks in. I would be very surprised if I got 5 hours total output. But you claim 500+ hours. Now I realise there are things like driver efficiency to consider but I doubt my driver is only 1% efficient compared to yours.

Care to tell us how bright extremely bright is?

You may want to change the product description on this page as it says nothing about 2-3 hours at full power which is where I was taking specs from. I see the info on the front page is different.
