I own halogen and LED lights from Sartek. No customer service issues. When I thought I had a problem, I went to their shop and found the problem was mine, not theirs. Sometimes it's good to be local to the manufacturer.
I have heard nothing but good words about Sartek's customer service.
As for their products having a propensity for needing that great customer service - haven't heard that either. In fact, of the couple of Sartek lights in our community, they've never needed repairs, so what's that tell you? Pretty reliable.

I've always had excellent service from Sartek and would recommend them without hesitation.

I have used their housing for the Go Pro. Much better focus than the Go Pro's own housing.
