There is a large school of Sardines off the house reef at Kon Tiki, Mactan.

Awesome experience diving with them, found one small school in a ball at 90' then big school at 20' end of dive, 1000s of em. This was one of the best dives of the trip. Thanks to DM Oli at Kon Tiki for some great dives.

After diving Alona Beach and Malapascua, Mactan was a bit of a shock, very urban. We called it ghetto diving, but well worth it.

Thanks to Tiki_bill here on Scubaboard for alerting us to the Sardines at Mactan on the Moalboal Sardines thread http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/ph...sardines-still-around-pescardor-moalboal.html. According to Tiki_bill the Sardines have been at Mactan for at least 6 months now.
