This weekend, I went with dive club South Orange County Dive Club aboard the dive boat Cee Ray to Santa Barbara Island. Wow there was no swell. Usually we cannot dive the back side due to the swells. There was a bigt of current but overall a great day of diving. One of my favorite dive sites is the rookery. The sea lions at Santa Barbara Island are always fun and give me some of the best photo ops. The visibility at the rookery was excellent. This one pic is my favorite from the day. On the way back to the swim step, this baby sea lion was just hanging out having a great time. Here is a pic of this cutie:

The rookery a Santa Barbara is always my favorite dive of any Channel Islands trip. The little ones love to play, and the Moms often join in.
