The water was beautiful for all those that got down to Sandwich on Sunday. Bhapps24 and I were two of the lucky ones and there were a number of other divers as well. The water was super clean and clear right on shore but as we got out a little ways the water had more "stuff" in it decreasing visability, but still respectable.

Great day too, sunny mid 70's, light breeze...

I was a little worried about the ocean swells from the hurricane in the northern atlantic (was it Lisa? so many this year), but the effects were not very noticable . A slight current towards the cannal as usual and we didnt get very deep, max 18feet. But it still was a very pretty dive. Lots of medium sized eggers must have held 6 or 8 of them in our two dives and a number of shorts. We did get two keepers and the bug that Bhapps picked was a male with a rather large sized crusher claw. Yum!! Anyone know if males typically have oversized claws (or at least larger that females?)

All in all a good day, no great day, though I was a bit surprised not to see any striped bass, perhaps it's getting a little cold for them or they are starting to migrate?

Water Temp: 61 degress
Air Temp: 74 degrees
Max Depth: 18 feet
Visability: 12-14 feet
