Hey everyone, I just wanted to share our adventure with you.
We just left Morehead City after a successful three days of diving with sandtiger sharks, and one blacktip shark made a cameo appearance while we were on the deco line at the end of our dive. The weather was perfect, the seas were calm, and we had plenty of sharks. We had a monster turn out with our Dive Club Members and Olympus Dive center ended up filling up their other dive boat with shark lovers as well. So needless to say the weekend was FUN! Raf cooked up his now legendary barbeque for everyone on saturday night for over forty people. We had our club members and a bunch of people that showed up to join our party...it was great. We said warm goodbyes to our guests on Sunday. But most of them will be coming back to join us for some of our other shark trips this season.
Monday found us back in the water diving for sandtiger sharks. We had perfect flat seas, the sun was out, visibiltiy was around 30-40 feet and probably around 40 sharks. Life is good!
Currently we are in Montauk about to go diving with basking sharks and threshers. We had a report of about 30 basking sharks around fifty yards off the beach about seven days ago. So hopefully they will be there on Thursday when we go diving...
I will keep you posted.
See you all in the water!
