Hi-
I've been a frequent visitor to scubaboard and finally decided it was time to join up--lots of great information here and some very entertaining stories.

I got my AOW cert last year and am looking to do my rescue this fall--
So far the only warm water place I have dove is Hawaii, but the cold waters off of San Diego just feel more like home.

Anyone who has suggestions on local, "hidden" dive sites in the San Diego area--Let me know! The Cove, La Jolla Shores, Marine Room are always fun, but a new site is always worth checking out-

Also FYI for other divers in the San Diego area--the bat rays are back at the Shores-head out in a straight line directly in front of Valecitos street (in front of the bathrooms), swim west heading 270-290 degrees, find the edge of the canyon, and follow it north. you will come to defined sandy patch around 45-50 feet deep--my buddy and I found a bunch of good sized bat rays a couple of weeks in a row.

Thanks
