Does anybody know what the hours of operation are for this restaurant?

Not sure what time they open, but I believe they close at 1700.
Good stuff. We always enjoy an afternoon fish lunch there.

Best seafood anywhere. But they close early, be there before 5 pm. Name: Pescadria San Carlos. They sell fresh, or cook the greatest meals there.

Opens about 11:00 or noon and closes at 5:00 - one of my favorites!

Google maps has a picture of the building. The sign on the front of the building says 7:00am to 5:00pm.
I'll have to try it the next time I'm in town. It's on 50 Avenida Sur Bis between Calle 3 Sur and Calle Doctor Adolfo Rosado Salas.

St. Chuck's Fish Shack does post hours of 7 AM to 5 PM but it doesn't open nearly that early and typically closes earlier than 5.

Go for lunch. That and takeout are what it's there for.

I only found Pescaderio San Carlos during my last trip, and I'm really sory that I'd missed it this long. The food was outstanding - I had Grouper in Garlic Sauce, and a big bowl of Sopa Marisco (only served on Saturday, if I recall the menu correctly), and both were outstanding. Definitely on my list of must do lunches. Still looking for a loncheria to replace Sabores, however, so if anyone has any suggestions -

For a loncheria, check out Las Palmas, Miss Dollar, or Los Chilangos (the loncheria, not the taqueria).
