I'm a Fish!
Did three shore dives from Catch-22 Beach and 4 Boat Dives at San Pedro Island.

Catch-22
3 Dives
Water Temp: 74 Degrees
Visibility: 0 to 10 feet
Sea life was sparse but there. Beach was a bit trashed.

Lighthouse
3 Dives
Water Temp: 66-68 Degrees (depending on depth)
Visibility: 30-40 feet
Most divers were comfortable in 5mm. Lots of playful sea lions.

Roca Grande
1 Dive
Water Temp: 68 Degrees at surface about 64 Degrees at 100'
Visibility: 50 feet
Lots of marine life.

Did 10 boat dives

Friday 9/7, Martini Cove (x2)
Viz 15-20'
Water Temp: Low 80's
Highlights: Alot of Sand Rays, crabs, etc.

Saturday 9/8, San Pedro Island, The Cascades or Little Waterfall (x3) & Lighthouse (x1)
Viz 60-70'
Water Temp: Mid 80's
Current: Mild
Hightlights: Yellow-Bellied Sea Snake, Turtles, Sea Lions, etc, etc, etc...

Saturday (con't) Night Dive, San Nicholas Island (x1)
Viz 10' (??? Not good)
Water Temp: Low 80's
Highlights: 2 eels, and octopus...

Sunday 9/9, San Pedro Island, El Ojo (x1)
Viz: 40-50'
Water Temp: Mid 80's
Current: Moderate, Strong @ 80'
Highlights: Strong currents at island, aborted deep dive, at 5-10' near shore was greeted by a huge bull sealion (how huge, I don't know, it's a blur) not too happy with us, got about 2' from our faces, got the heck out of dodge quickly and safely after being circled a couple times. Currents all over the island forced us to head back to San Carlos.

Sunday (con't) San Antonio Pt. (x2)
Viz: 35-40'
Water Temp: Mid 80's
Current: Mild
Highlights: Usual reef fish assortment, I was on a mission to find a seahorse, didn't have any luck.

Didn't have the opportunity to bring my camera on too many dives, but I should have a full report on my blog (see sig for link) in a couple days. All-in-all I was pleased that the conditions were that good in the wake of Hurricane Henriette.
