Yesterday I just dove the Salvor just off of the shoreline of northern muskegon in lake michigan. I went with Brad (aka Superstar) who I met through this site. It was my first dive ever in lake MI and like a lot of divers have told me, its a lot clearer than you think. Even with the vis being abnormally low according to brad, I was quite surprised. Maybe it was just stirred up after the crazy thunderstorms we had friday. We were down for about 50 minutes and I had recorded 52 degrees. I spent most of my time playing with my camera but unfortunately the photos did not come out too well. I got a tip from somebody about using the manual white balance so the color came out great compared to my previous photos but unfortunately I didn't have it set right to compensate for focus. Overall it was a great dive, had a lot of fun on the lake with Brad and his family.
