I am looking at Salvo as one option for tech regulators, but I don't know much about them. I searched this forum but did not find a lot. A couple of people have recommended them highly, but only a couple. I am hoping for more detailed reviews. I am also looking for a more clear distinction between the SR2 and SR3 first stages than I find on the web site.

If you search for 'tek x06' regulator or 'sea elite' you may find more information on salvo regs. Sea Elite, Salvo and Dive Rite regs are all made in the same factory in Taiwan. In fact, tek x06 and Salvo SR3 are the exact same reg with different labels.

Thank you so very much. That is all I needed to know.

I do mostly warm water diving...but want to be able to use those regs for cold water and deep trimix diving...will they work in those capacities too? I like the Salvo SR3/SRX combo it looks affordable and I trust Salvo.

you asked a newb question, I gave you a newb answer...no need for sarcasm.

Bit touchy tonight? I don't see any sarcasm - just a thanks for telling him what he wanted to know. Lighten up.

I've used them in the Great lakes and cave diving for the past couple of years.... coldest dive was 34-36F at depth on an April Lake Erie dive.
