Did two shore dives in a spot we have been going to for over 15 years and had amazing success at. Seems like every year the weeds get worse but we hoped this year it might be better. Unfortunately it wasn't. Almost impossible to spot claw tips or antennae without constantly lifting up weeds. Saw lots of shorts but I did manage to get 1 bug. We fared better on scallops by swimming at the rock/sand edge and got a full bag. Saw many fluke and some were massive (over 2 feet. The biggest I have ever seen or caught). Water was a very nice 61 degrees at 36'. 5'-10' vis in most spots. Once our boats get fixed this week, it will be time to expand the options.
