saint croix recommendation cruise ship day for land vacationer

We'll be vacationing on land. I see there is one day a cruise ship will be in town. Do most cruise ship divers congregate on a particular part of the island or particular dive sites? I'm guessing the west side, closer to the pier.

Any suggestion for a strategy, dive site, or dive shop to deal with this? I don't have anything against cruisers, just lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvve piece and quiet.

Are there divemasters who'll plan a dive day for just 2 people? Have read about this on other islands....

Yes, you are right, the cruise ships dock in Frederiksted and yes, it is a mess. Get away from there and ho dive with Cane Bay Dive Shop. Superb diving on the wall and you can just swim out from the beach.
