Sailing Forum Recommendations

Awhile back in a Sailing and Diving Post someone recommended a sailing forum.

I am looking for recommendations for good sailing forum to join. There are lots out there as there are lots of diving forums but many have no activity. I lucked out and found ScubaBoard without having to sift.

the only similar thing I am aware of is the irc channel #sailing on undernet.

Sailing anarchy www.sailinganarchy.com is a "linear" format board run by a wannabe racer out of San Diego named Scot Tempesta. Anybody who's actually somebody in the sailing world knows Scot is a whiney little bitc#$%, but I know a lot of the AC teams used to read the site just to see how inaccurate the rumors could be. Recommended for high school aged males, and others who think Howard Stern is meaningful social commentary.

The other decent discussion group is scuttlebutt. It's not a web based forum, but an e-mail list. It's highly moderated (you get one chance to comment on any given subject, so make sure you think before you hit "send"), but the level of discussion is very high.
