S95, canon housing, YS-110A

Hi, i just want to know if the s95 will preflash. if it dont, does it mean i cant use ttl? i have to manually adjust the strobe everytime?

I use the S95 with the YS-01 and it does ttl flawlessly,
you can turn preflash on/off

Like almost all P&S cameras of all brands, the S series Canon cameras preflash in Auto, Program and the auto modes for Av and Tv. In Av and Tv the preflash can be selected off or on, default is on. In Manual mode there is never any preflash.

So, yes, you can use the simulated TTL function of YS and Inon strobes in Auto, Program and Av and Tv (if the preflash is selected on).

what is the difference between YS110a and Z240? i've tried with the YS110a but sometimes its good sometimes it is not.
