I just purchaed a housing for my S30. I have heard mixed reviews, some reported that it flooded.

Users of all camera types have reported floods. It is nothing unique to the housing for the s30.

Search this group for housing care -- especially pre/post-dive. Know how to clean/grease the o-ring, watch for hairs, etc. Camera floods are usually a result of operator error.

I've only had my S30 down about 15 times, but so far no problems.

Enjoy.

I have been using a S30 for the last 3 years and have had no problems with the housing but be very careful with cleaning the O ring and re-greasing it. I regrease the O ring after every couple of dives. This is a great little still and video camera for the money and as a starter unit.
